Promotional DVD
With images of all performance styles and ‘vox pops’ of Nottingham’s Trinity Show Band members explaining why they enjoy being in the band, this short DVD will be useful when bands are giving presentations to support and develop their membership. Good Beginnings Training DVD
Introduced by 16 times champion snare drummer Jim Kilpatrick MBE, this is a new two hour training resource produced by the Federation with funding from Awards for All and the Nautical Training Corps. Aimed at traditional bands, show bands and drum corps, it will be particularly useful for units that don’t have a full complement of specialist staff. The DVD will be useful for instructors and members, and covers basic techniques with snare, brass, woodwind, guard and marching. £8.50 incl p&p. Email: marchbands@aol.com
Charity Registration
The Federation negotiated a ‘fast track’ constitution with the Charity Commission several years ago. Whilst some aspects of the registration requirements have changed, the constitution remains valid. Send a large SAE to The Federation Office.
